This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Spritz iOS app and this website.The short version- You don't need an account to use Spritz. We don't ask for your name, email, or password to browse happy hours.
- We use your location only to show happy hours near you — and only if you grant permission. You can turn it off anytime in iOS Settings.
- We collect anonymous usage data to understand what's working and make the app better.
- We don't sell your data, and we don't track you across other companies'
apps or websites for advertising.
- We may show promoted listings from venues, and share anonymous, aggregate performance data with them.Information we collectLocation. If you allow it, Spritz uses your device location to find and rank
happy hours near you. Location is used to serve your request and is not tied to
your real-world identity. Granting location is optional — you can use Spritz
without it, or change your choice anytime in iOS Settings → Spritz → Location.Usage and device data. To improve the app, we collect anonymous, aggregated information about how Spritz is used — for example which listings are viewed, taps and screens, app version, device model, and general region. This is linked to a random, app-generated identifier, not to your name or Apple ID.Advertising and promoted listings
Some happy hours in Spritz may be promoted or sponsored, meaning a venue has paid for placement. We clearly label promoted content. When a venue advertises with us, we may share aggregate, de-identified performance reporting — for example, how many people viewed or tapped their listing. We do not share information that identifies you personally with venues or advertisers, we do not sell your personal information, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.Information you choose to send us. If you email our support address, we receive your message and email address so we can reply. We use it only to respond to you.What we don't collect. We don't collect your name, contacts, photos, or payment information, and Spritz has no login. security and privacy commitments.We may also use privacy-minded analytics tools to understand app usage in aggregate. We share data only with providers that help us operate Spritz, or when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.Data retentionWe keep anonymous usage data only as long as it's useful for operating and improving Spritz, and support emails only as long as needed to resolve your request. Aggregated or de-identified data may be kept longer.Your choices and rights- Location: turn it on or off anytime in iOS Settings.
- Access or deletion: because Spritz has no account, we hold little to no information that identifies you. If you've contacted support and want that correspondence deleted, email us and we'll take care of it.
- Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights over your personal information. Email us to exercise them.ChildrenSpritz is intended for users 17 and older (it surfaces alcohol-related happy hour deals) and is not directed to children. We don't own, operate, or endorse the restaurants and bars shown, and inclusion in the app isn't a recommendation. Trademarks and venue names belong to their respective owners.Drink responsiblySpritz references alcohol. You must be of legal drinking age in your location to purchase or consume alcohol, and you agree to do so responsibly and lawfully.
Never drink and drive.Acceptable useUse Spritz for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Don't scrape, copy, resell, or redistribute our content or data, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the app, or use it for any unlawful purpose.Promoted listingsSome listings may be promoted or sponsored by a venue, and we label those. We don't guarantee the app will always be available, error-free, or up to date.Limitation of liabilityTo the fullest extent permitted by law, South Pointe Group LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) Spritz or your reliance on any listing or deal.Changes to these termsWe may update these Terms from time to time. We'll change the date above when we do, and your continued use of Spritz means you accept the updated Terms.Governing lawThese Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
